Project Estimator

Zachary Piper is hiring a Project Estimator to support pricing for construction projects for retail, hospital, and municipality customers on-site in Greensboro, NC.

Responsibilities:

• Manage quantity takeoffs, estimation, GMP development, and cost analysis
• Review project documents, develop budgets, pricing, evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals during preconstruction process
• Identify potential project risks, opportunities, and cost impacts with subcontractors and suppliers
• Participate in pre-bod meetings, site visits, and project interviews
• Perform constructability reviews, value engineering analyses, and cost-saving evaluations.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree in a relevant field
• 5 years of experience in construction estimating
• Experience with BluBeam, Sage, Excel, or similar estimating system
• Strong Cost Analysis Experience
• Must be able to pass a government background check
  
  

Compensation Package:

• Salary Range: 80k-95k
