Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an IT Specialist Senior – Networking to support a long-term enterprise IT and cybersecurity program based in Crane, IN. The IT Specialist Senior – Networking will provide Tier 2/3 network support, troubleshooting, and optimization across enterprise infrastructure, with a strong focus on Cisco networking technologies. This position requires an active Secret Clearance and is onsite in Crane, IN!

- Provide Tier 2/3 support for enterprise network infrastructure
- Install, configure, integrate, and troubleshoot IT and networking systems
- Troubleshoot and optimize Cisco routers, switches, and related network equipment
- Support enterprise routing and switching infrastructure
- Perform advanced troubleshooting of IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols
- Configure and troubleshoot VLANs, VPNs, NAT, and related networking technologies
- Support network upgrades, new installations, and infrastructure modernization
- Perform Tier 3 troubleshooting, optimization, and performance management
- Support IPv6, EIGRP, BGP, VLAN, VPN, and NAT environments
- Coordinate with cybersecurity teams to ensure secure network operations
- Integrate enterprise, regional, and local IT systems while maintaining network availability
- Diagnose and resolve complex network connectivity and performance issues
- Support network recovery efforts following outages or service disruptions
- Document network configurations, troubleshooting procedures, system changes, and technical solutions
- Collaborate with network engineers, system administrators, cybersecurity teams, and other technical stakeholders
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior IT and network personnel
- 7 years of IT experience; 10 years preferred
- Active Secret Clearance
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, and enterprise networking equipment
- Experience providing Tier 2/3 network administration and troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of enterprise routing and switching
- Experience with IPv6, EIGRP, BGP, VLANs, VPNs, and NAT
- Experience with IP, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise network protocols
- Experience supporting network upgrades, installations, and infrastructure integration
- Strong network troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- CompTIA Security or equivalent IAT Level II certification
- CCNA certification required
- Microsoft certification preferred; waiver may be considered
- CCNP, CCDP, MTA, MCSA, or MCTS certification preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with technical and cybersecurity teams
- Salary: $100,000 - $110,000
