Job Description
The Custodian position performs any combination of light cleaning duties to maintain clinical areas and administrative areas in a clean and orderly manner. Duties may include performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of the need for repairs, and cleaning trash or debris from the sidewalk. The custodian role is an essential function in our offices. The position will rotate shifts to fill time slots from hours of 8:00AM-6:00PM. Full-Time position is benefits eligible for insurance, PTO, and paid holidays, after 90 days of employment.
Education/Experience High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 1-year custodial experience Preferred experience performing minor facility repair Must have valid Driver’s License

Participate in / Drug-Free Workplace / E-Verify participant/ EOE. Key Responsibilities: Public and Reception Areas: Clean entries and entrance/reception glass Empty wastepaper and replace liner Vacuum carpets and spot-clean where necessary and possible Straighten chairs and magazines or books Dust any tables, lamps, or other furnishings Check and clean AC vents Spot-clean door jams Clean windows and blinds as needed Private Offices: Empty waste receptacles and replace liners Clean desktops Vacuum carpet and spot-clean where necessary Clean any mirrors or inner-office glass Rev090619 Dust tables, lamps, pictures, bookcases, and other furnishings Clean coffee cups Clean windows and blinds as needed Bathrooms: Clean and sanitize fixtures Sweep, mop and sanitize tiled floors, power scrub when necessary Spot-clean walls Clean and disinfect basins Refill dispensers (customer stock) Empty waste receptacles and replace liners Clean mirrors and bright work Employee’s Breakroom: Vacuum carpets and spot clean as necessary Mop floor (If applicable) Empty receptacles and replace liners Wipe tabletops Wipe appliance fronts Clean coffee pot and coffee cups Clean sink and surrounding area Clean refrigerator, as needed Exam Area: Sweep, mop, and sanitize floors; spray buff floors as needed Remove, by hand, foreign matter from the floor Remove all trash and place in appropriate, designated container and replace liners Clean and sanitize sinks and countertops Clean and sanitize exam tables Security: Check all doors at outside entrances and exits and other secured areas Notify designated person if irregularities are found Outside Areas: Pick up trash on property outside Sweep entranceway Clean entrance door Can perform minor repairs in facilities
Plants:
All PLANTS in planters must be watered in the morning (as soon as arriving for your shift) again before ending your shift in the evening. Aquariums: Glass must be cleaned Sand must be turned Fish must be fed – every other day Water levels must be maintained ***Any issues with the Aquarium – please reach out to Freddie Kong, COO.
