Accounts Receivable Supervisor – Cash Application

The Accounts Receivable Supervisor is responsible for the successful coordination of accounts receivable oversight and related activities including the mentoring and developing of a great Accounts Receivable team.
Essential Functions:
- Leads special projects in improving processes and controls
- Mentor and develop the AR team
- Will lead upcoming automation projects
- Prepare Monthly internal reports
- Supervises the posting of all receipts received through the locations and other non-lock box remittances
- Supervise the preparation of checks and other payment forms for posting to customer accounts and investigates and researches unapplied cash
- Ensures processing remittance application and balancing of payments from checks received in the lock box
- Oversee the application and balancing of various types of payment remittances including ACH, wire, and credit card charges
- Provides back up and assists other Cash Application Specialists and Credit and Collection Administrators
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Three plus years’ AR experience preferred
- Outgoing personality
- Extensive accounting knowledge, with understanding of invoices, statements of account, receivables, and various forms of payment remittances
- Exceptional organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills
- Strong research and investigation skills
- Problem solving and planning orientation skills
Salary : $76,000 - $87,000
