Job Summary
This position is advertised from the minimum to the mid-point hourly rate. Salary will be determined based on education and experience at the time of offer.
NATURE OF WORK
Nature of Work
(Illustrative Only) Operates a variety of heavy trucks and equipment with manual transmissions and hand tools; performs manual labor assignments; works on construction and maintenance projects; builds and maintains road structures; assist in repairing roadway surfaces, culverts, headwalls, shoulders, and guardrails; assists with the construction and repairs of building fixtures; assists with the inspection, performance, and routine maintenance on trucks and heavy equipment; identifies and reports mechanical problems; controls traffic in work zones; completes required daily logs and prepares reports; provides on-call, 24-7 services on a predetermined rotation schedule; regular and reliable attendance is required; performs other duties as assigned.
Experience and Education
High School Diploma or GED equivalent; AND two (2) years of construction, maintenance, trades, or heavy equipment experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience; must possess and maintain an Arizona Class “A” Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) for the operation of combination vehicles with manual transmissions; requires successful completion of a background check and must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Work Environment: The usual and customary methods of performing the job’s functions require the following physical demands: lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling. Generally the job requires 30% bending, 20% walking, 20% stooping and 30% standing. The job is performed under varying extreme weather conditions and exposed to exhaust and chemical fumes, oil and hazardous materials.

Plan Option 1: Preferred Provider Option A (PPO) or PPO A 1100 deductible. Employees who participate in the "Wellness Incentive" will receive a $30 monthly premium reduction by completing three steps.
Plan Option 2: Preferred Provider Option B (PPO) or PPO B 1,500 deductible. Employees who participate in the "Wellness Incentive" will receive a $30 monthly premium reduction by completing three steps.
Plan Option 3: High Deductible High Plan - Health Savings Account (HDHP-HSA) with a 1700 deductible. Employees who participate in the “ Wellness Incentive” will receive a $30 monthly premium reduction by completing three steps.
Employer contributes a total of $800.04 to employees Health Savings Account. If employees select Employee only and participate in the “ Wellness Incentive” employees can receive up to 360.00 contribution to a Limited Purpose FSA card to be used for medical or dental purposes.
Southwest Service Administrator (SSA) Mexico PPO Health Plan: SSA is available to employees who are enrolled in YCEBT Medical PPO Plan A and PPO Plan B. The SSA Plan pays 100% of hospital, medical, laboratory and prescription drug benefits, to a maximum of $5,000 per person per calendar year ($10,000 for two or more family members).
