Nature of Work
Experience and Education
High school diploma or GED; AND two years' experience as a Courtroom Clerk, preferably in the State of Arizona; OR any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: This classification requires the applicant to pass extensive criminal background checks; a valid Arizona State Driver’s License may be required; Arizona Committee on Judicial Education and Training (COJET) yearly accreditation is required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of: Applicable State of Arizona statutes, rules, administrative orders, policies and procedures, Federal rules and requirements, including Arizona Revised Statutes Title 21; Yuma County and Superior Court policies and procedures; basic legal terminology and Arizona court processes and procedures; basic principles and practices of record keeping, bookkeeping, case and case flow management, jury management, automation, and office operations; State and Federal laws and regulations governing the release of information from court records; Arizona specialized software applications and technology.
Skills in: Preparing, filing, and distributing various types of legal documents; explaining court procedures in a clear, concise, and comprehensive manner to citizens; preparing clear and comprehensive written and statistical reports; working under pressure in a dynamic environment with changing priorities; dealing tactfully and courteously with those seeking information about court functions and activities; closely following verbal and written instructions and procedures; maintaining accurate records; establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with co-workers and court personnel; operating a personal computer utilizing a variety of business software; communicating effectively verbally and in writing; making arithmetical calculations with speed and accuracy.

Plan Option 2: Preferred Provider Option B (PPO) or PPO B 1,500 deductible. Employees who participate in the "Wellness Incentive" will receive a $30 monthly premium reduction by completing three steps.
Plan Option 3: High Deductible High Plan - Health Savings Account (HDHP-HSA) with a 1700 deductible. Employees who participate in the “ Wellness Incentive” will receive a $30 monthly premium reduction by completing three steps.
Employer contributes a total of $800.04 to employees Health Savings Account. If employees select Employee only and participate in the “ Wellness Incentive” employees can receive up to 360.00 contribution to a Limited Purpose FSA card to be used for medical or dental purposes.
Southwest Service Administrator (SSA) Mexico PPO Health Plan: SSA is available to employees who are enrolled in YCEBT Medical PPO Plan A and PPO Plan B. The SSA Plan pays 100% of hospital, medical, laboratory and prescription drug benefits, to a maximum of $5,000 per person per calendar year ($10,000 for two or more family members).
