Duties
- Assist with site preparation, including unloading materials and setting up equipment
- Support carpenters, masons, electricians, and other tradespeople by providing necessary tools and materials
- Perform general labor tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and cleaning work areas
- Help with the installation of construction components under supervision
- Maintain a safe work environment by following safety protocols and reporting hazards promptly
- Operate basic machinery and tools as trained and authorized
- Ensure the worksite remains organized, tidy, and compliant with safety standards
Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills
- Good communication skills to follow instructions clearly and work effectively within a team
- Basic understanding of construction safety practices; willingness to obtain necessary certifications if required
- Reliable transportation to job sites; flexibility to work various shifts or overtime as needed
