What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Professional of Healing Arts position at Youth Advocate Programs, Inc.?
Status: Part-Time Hourly FLSA Classification: Non- Exempt
Summary of Position: This position is responsible for implementing and coordinating behavioral health services throughout Harris County.
- Provide direct counseling to the individual and family
- Ensure that all components of the treatment plan are being implemented and are clinically appropriate as determined by the diagnosis and assessment.
- Ensure that all services are provided in compliance with YAP Policies and State/Federal Regulations.* Ensure that all components of the treatment plan are being implemented and are clinically appropriate as determined by the diagnosis and assessment. Qualifications/Requirements: Master’s Degree in one of the following human services field required: psychology, criminal justice, sociology, social work, counseling/therapy, or behavioral health.
Active Professional Licensure in the practice of psychology, counseling, or social work required. . LCSW, LPC, LMFT
- Experience in the provision of home and/or community based mental health services.
- Foster Care experience is a plus.
- Play Therapy experience is a plus.
CPR/First Aid Certification. Behavior Management (MANDT) Certification is a plus
Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current automobile insurance coverage.
