What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Professional of Healing Arts position at Youth Advocate Programs, Inc.?
Status: Part-Time Hourly FLSA Classification: Non- Exempt
Summary of Position: This position is responsible for implementing and coordinating behavioral health services throughout Harris County.
- Provide direct counseling to the individual and family
- Ensure that all components of the treatment plan are being implemented and are clinically appropriate as determined by the diagnosis and assessment.

Hourly Rate: $55 per hour for billable services.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in one of the following human services field required: psychology, criminal justice, sociology, social work, counseling/therapy, or behavioral health.
- Active Professional Licensure in the practice of psychology, counseling, or social work required. (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, etc.)
- Experience in the provision of home and/or community based mental health services.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer knowledge: knowledge with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems is a plus
- Foster Care experience is a plus.
- Play Therapy experience is a plus.
- Bilingual/Spanish speaking is a plus
- CPR/First Aid Certification. Behavior Management (MANDT) Certification is a plus
- Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current automobile insurance coverage.
