We are seeking an experienced Construction Field Safety Professional to support a high-profile Data Center construction project in Frederick, MD. As part of the safety team, your contributions will identify hazards and immediately mitigate them to ensure site safety compliance. Since all trades are represented on this project, this position offers a chance to grow your expertise in all aspects of construction safety, OSHA regulations, and construction management while supporting the well-being of our workforce.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead implementation and enforcement of site-specific safety plans and procedures
- Conduct daily field safety audits, inspections, and hazard assessments
- Identify and correct unsafe conditions and behaviors in real time
- Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
- Deliver safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing training
- Review and maintain safety documentation (e.g., Pre Task Plans, equipment inspections, certs)
- Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure compliance with project safety standards
- Assist with emergency response planning and execution
- Collaborate with project leadership to continuously improve safety performance
Qualifications:
- OSHA 30 (required)
- 5–7 years of construction safety experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) helpful but not mandatory
- BCSP certifications (CHST, ASP, or CSP) helpful but not mandatory
- Strong verbal and written communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Additional Info:
- Hourly Rate: $45–$50/hour (based on experience)
- Overtime: 1.5x pay ($67.50–$75/hour)
- Anticipated scheduled 50-60 hours/week (10-20 hours OT/week)
- Duration: 6 months
- Per Diem Available
- Budget available for training and certifications on a case-by-case basis
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Occasional Saturdays)
- Overtime and additional shifts may be available
Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
