Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Advisor to champion a safe, compliant, and sustainable workplace environment. In this vital role, you will lead efforts to develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs for our Client's Construction operations. Your expertise will ensure adherence to environmental regulations and occupational health standards while fostering a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement.
Our operations are being expanding and we are looking for several qualified individuals.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee EHS policies aligned with local, state, and federal regulations such as OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), and workers' compensation law.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Lead incident investigations by performing root cause analysis to determine underlying issues and prevent recurrence.
- Deliver engaging training sessions on topics including first aid, CPR, OSHA standards, occupational health practices, and emergency response procedures.
- Maintain accurate report writing for safety incidents, inspections, audits, and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate workers' compensation claims processes and ensure proper reporting procedures are followed.
- Promote a culture of safety through ongoing training & development initiatives and employee engagement programs.
Qualifications
- Proven 5 Years of experience in Construction environments with a strong understanding of OSHA standards.
- OSHA 500
- Certification in first aid, CPR, or related emergency response training is highly desirable.
- Any other Professional Safety Designations are also very helpful.
- Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and report writing for safety incidents.
- Familiarity with occupational health principles and best practices for maintaining a safe work environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver effective training & development sessions.
- Knowledgeable and familiarized with Computer Software (Microsoft, Acrobat, Procore, Etc)

Pay: $82,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
