Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily landscaping activities, including planting, lawn care, pruning, and irrigation system installation
- Lead landscaping and construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion within budget and specifications
- Oversee landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, fertilizing, and pest control to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy
- Manage team schedules, assign tasks, and provide hands-on training to develop skills and promote safety awareness
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure work meets company standards and client expectations
- Maintain equipment, tools, and supplies; oversee routine maintenance and proper usage
- Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and other contractors to facilitate smooth project execution
Skills
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping design, or construction projects
- Strong supervising skills with the ability to lead teams effectively in outdoor environments
- Knowledge of lawn care practices including mowing, fertilization, aeration, and pest management
- Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting
- Experience with tree care techniques such as pruning, cabling, or removal
- Understanding of horticulture principles related to plant health and garden management
- Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, accountability, and safety compliance
- Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to operate or oversee the use of landscaping machinery and tools effectively
