What are the responsibilities and job description for the Furniture Studio Lead (Project Management) position at Your Other Half Solutions?
Do you love creating exceptional customer experiences digitally and in-person and merging
analytics with real-world logistics? A local home furniture company is searching for a Studio
Lead to be the face of our Dumbo loft, a trusted guide for our trade partners, and a
problem-solver for our valued customers.
This isn’t just another “customer service” role. As Studio Lead, you’ll:
- Be the point person for our trade program and design consultations.
- Represent the company at our Brooklyn loft and at trade events.
- Work across teams (marketing, warehouse, trade, and management) to deliver smooth customer experiences both digitally and in-person.
- Take ownership of studio operations while staying connected with our remote team.
What You’ll Do
- Own the Studio Experience: A couple days a week, you will welcome trade clients and visitors to our beautiful Brooklyn loft, lead design consultations, and keep the space organized and inspiring.
- Projet Manage the Trade Program: Manage inquiries, special orders, and design consultations while maintaining brand tone and exceptional service.
- White Glove Customer Service: Use Zendesk and Shopify to handle order questions, shipping challenges, returns, and replacements with professionalism.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with marketing, warehouse, and leadership to ensure timely deliveries, smooth operations, and VIP-level service.
- Be the Data Connector: Track returns, replacements, and order analytics to identify trends and suggest improvements.
- Represent the brand beyond the studio: Join trade shows and events, bringing professionalism, warmth, and brand pride.
Who You Are
- A seasoned professional (5 years) with proven skills in logistics, order management, or retail.
- Tech-savvy and confident using Zendesk and Shopify (bonus points for experience with NetSuite and Asana).
- Mature and level-headed — calm under pressure, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed.
- Adaptable — equally comfortable working independently in the loft and collaborating with a remote team.
- Solution-oriented — you don’t stop at “that’s the policy”; you find ways forward.
- Trustworthy and dependable — a steady presence with integrity, grit, and self-awareness.
