Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mowing Crew Member to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and possess a variety of skills related to landscape maintenance, lawn care, and mowing. This role involves working most times alone and provides the highest quality of service in mowing, weed eating, edging with an edger and blowing off sidewalks, driveways, parking lots and parking lots. Typical workloads are around 40 properties per week.
Duties
- Perform lawn care activities including mowing, trimming, and edging.
- Assist in landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, weeding, and mulching.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain equipment.
- Participate in tree care activities including tree trimming and removal.
- Assist with irrigation system installation and maintenance.
- Engage in snow plowing during winter months as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in landscaping, and mowing is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with mechanical tools and equipment is essential; experience with zero-turn mowers and driving a truck and trailer is a must.
- Knowledge of gardening practices and landscape design principles is beneficial.
- Experience in construction or hardscape installation will be considered an asset.
