Youngs Farm, a 130-year-old organic farm, bakery, and market, is looking to hire a full-time facilities crew member.
The ideal candidate is hardworking, energetic, organized, and willing to learn new skills while working as part of a team. Each day, a team of 3-4 facilities crew members support the various departments within the business.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintaining vehicle cleanliness
Organization of walk-in refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas
Daily filling-up of the store display freezer
Receiving Deliveries
Landscaping
Inventory management
Taking out garbage and filling up supplies
General support of other staff within the business
The scope of work often extends beyond the tasks listed. However, the primary goal is to help the departments within the company work as efficiently as possible.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to engage in teamwork, communication, and critical thinking
Willingness to learn new skills and apply them going forward
Strong attention to detail and safety in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated and organized
Machinery and mechanical experience is a plus
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and willingness to work in a variety of climates
Compensation:
Hourly: $18-20/hour - commensurate with ability and experience
