Retail Associate - Organic Farm, Bakery, Market

We are currently looking for 3 year-round, part-time or full-time employees (please no summer-only applicants) to work in our market. Working weekends is required for this position.

Responsibilities:
- Provide warm, polite, and exceptional customer service
- Assist customers in finding and selecting fresh produce and other products
- Operate our POS system and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Answer questions and take orders over the phone with confidence
- Demonstrate product knowledge and provide recommendations to customers
- Product restocking and display

Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction
- Ability to multitask and stay composed in fast-paced work environment
- Proficiency in operating a POS and handling cash
- Positive attitude that contributes to our tight-knit team
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to follow through with all tasks
- Strong phone etiquette skills for effective communication with customers
- Strong communication skills between coworkers and management

We are currently looking for a passionate individual who has an interest in working for a growing small business. Knowledge of baked goods and vegetables is a plus, but we are willing to train. Interests in farming, cooking, and gardening are encouraged! The market team is on their feet for most of the day and often needs to lift 25-30 lbs, so being comfortable with that aspect of the job is essential. A professional appearance is required.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
