Higher Level Math and Science Tutor

We are currently seeking dedicated tutors with expertise in the following subjects:

• AP Physics 1 & 2
• AP Physics C: Electricity & Magnetism
• AP Physics C: Mechanics
• AP Calculus BC
• AP Calculus AB
• AP Statistics
• Math Analysis
• Trigonometry
• Geometry
• Algebra II
• Algebra I

We highly value diverse expertise and tutoring abilities, and we give priority consideration to candidates who can also tutor additional subjects or instruments.

Qualifications:

We are looking for individuals who possess the following qualities and qualifications:

• A genuine passion for helping students achieve and excel in their academic or artistic endeavors.
• A kind, understanding, and positive demeanor to empower our students in their academic, music, or arts pursuits.
• The ability and willingness to work with students of all age groups, including children as young as 5 years old.
• A minimum of a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of tutoring or instructional experience. Preference is given to applicants with an SAT score of at least 1400 (2100 on the old test) or an equivalent standardized test score.
• Residency in or proximity to the greater Pasadena area.
• Reliable transportation for commuting to students' homes across the San Gabriel Valley, with a primary focus on South Pasadena, Pasadena, and San Marino, and secondary coverage in Alhambra, Temple City, Arcadia, Eagle Rock, and Highland Park.
• Academic Educators must be versatile in tutoring multiple subjects.
• Commitment to a minimum of 10 hours per week.
