FULLERTON LOCATION: AP Calculus AND Higher Level Math Math Tutor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced AP Calculus and Higher Level Math Tutor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics, specifically Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus AB/BC, AP Statistics, competition math, and AMC 8, AMC 10, AMC 12, and a proven track record of helping students excel in their AP exams. The instructor will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging lessons, providing personalized feedback, and fostering a supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Teach one-on-one or small-group sessions in higher-level math.
- Subjects may include Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus AB/BC, AP Statistics, competition math, and AMC 8, AMC 10, AMC 12.
- Prepare lesson materials and provide clear explanations and strategies.
- Track student progress and communicate updates when needed.
- Maintain punctuality and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, or related field required.
- Strong knowledge of advanced high school math and AP-level content.
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience preferred.
- In-person availability at Fullerton is required.
Job Types: Part-time
Pay: Maximum pay is $30.00 per hour. Negotiable.
