Wellness Receptionist

Position Title: Wellness Receptionist - PRN (As Needed)
Department: Elevate Fitness/Wellness
Reports to: Director, Wellness

York General is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Receptionist to provide PRN coverage between Elevate Fitness and the Wellness Center. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for members, guests, and patients, helping create a welcoming experience while supporting daily operations through membership services, scheduling, phone support, and administrative tasks. What You'll Do:

• Greet and assist members, patients, guests, and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer inquiries.
• Register new members, maintain membership accounts, and process payments.
• Schedule appointments, classes, and wellness services.
• Provide information regarding memberships, programs, services, and facility amenities.
• Monitor facility access and assist with member check-in procedures.
• Support administrative functions including record maintenance, reports, and special projects.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment throughout the facility.
• Provide coverage between Elevate Fitness and the Wellness Center as needed.

What You'll Bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent, or current enrollment in a high school or GED program.
• Current BLS certification or the ability to obtain certification.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Previous receptionist, clerical, customer service, or administrative experience is preferred.
