What You'll Do:

Provide medical advice over the phone, assessing patient needs and determining appropriate next steps.

Triage and prioritize calls from patients, hospitals, and other providers.

Follow up on critical labs, pathology results, and imaging, ensuring timely communication to providers and patients.

Conduct walk-in patient assessments and determine urgency of care needs.

Manage and respond to patient messages, including questions, concerns, and care instructions.

Communicate results, plans of care, and provider recommendations clearly and compassionately.

Make appointments and coordinate referrals as needed while triaging.

Provide backup support for medication refills and assist with floor nursing when required.

Document all patient interactions accurately in the EMR.

Contribute to positive patient experiences through service recovery when necessary.
Who We're Looking For:

A Nebraska-licensed LPN or RN with at least 1 year of experience in a clinic, inpatient, or home health setting preferred.

A strong communicator who can read, interpret, and explain medical information with clarity and confidence.

A problem-solver with excellent clinical reasoning and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Compassionate, patient-centered, and able to adjust to a fast-paced environment.

Comfortable working independently and navigating an EMR.
