Assists Recreation Leaders in supervising a designated group of participants in various activities, field trips and games.
Leads participants in games, arts and crafts projects, special events, and other activities as assigned.
Responsible for proper care and clean-up of the facility, equipment, and supplies that are utilized within the site.
Must be able to work a revised schedule when needed and maintain consistent attendance throughout the six-week program.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Must be 16 years of age or older.
Possession of a valid driver's license issued by the Commonwealth of Virginia.
This job is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment checks to include criminal history, background and DMV record checks.
Some experience in recreation/childcare work preferred.
CPR/AED/First Aid certification preferred.
Must be able to work a revised schedule when needed and maintain consistent attendance throughout the six-week program.

Position is work-as-required, no benefits.
Must be physically able to operate common office equipment such as personal computers, typewriters, copiers, calculators, etc. Must be physically able to operate a motor vehicle. Much of the work is sedentary in nature and involves sitting at a desk or in front of a computer, while doing administrative work. When retrieving supplies and monitoring programs and facilities, work involves some bending, stooping, climbing of stairs, and walking.
