- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Athletic Administration, Athletic Training or other athletic-related background
- Minimum of three (3) years of successful athletic coaching or educational experience.
- Knowledgeable of District policies, PIAA rules and regulations, student eligibility requirements and risk management practices.
- Strong communication, organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with athletic scheduling software, digital communication platforms and student information systems.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, staff, community members and external organizations.
- Ability to manage conflict and resolve concerns effectively and professionally.
- Ability to work non-traditional hours as needed to support various athletic programs.
- CPR/AED and emergency response training required.
- Act 34 Clearance, Act 151 Clearance, FBI Clearance (all self-paid)

- Responsible for providing representation at all sporting events.
- Must have knowledge of PIAA rules and regulations.
- Provide leadership and strategic direction for District athletic programs and initiatives
- Recruit, supervise, mentor and evaluate coaches and athletic personnel.
- Maintain positive communication with students, parents, staff, media and community members.
- Requires responsible use of social media that communicates athletic-related information only and doesn't engage in community opinion and/or controversy.
- Coordinates athletic schedules, transportation, facilities usage and event operations.
- Arranges sports officials, team physicians, and School Police, as required. Assumes responsibility for proper supervision at home games.
- Ensure compliance with District, PIAA and league regulations.
- Compliance with, and monitors physical and academic eligibility requirements/support according to District guidelines.
- Develop and administer the approved athletic budget, while ensuring responsible use of District resources.
- Responsible for ordering supplies and equipment for athletic events.
- Supervise all ticket sales and fund raising events of the athletic program and assume responsibility for the proper handling of funds.
- Maintain safe athletic facilities and equipment and oversee regular inspections of the same.
- Arrange all details of visiting teams' needs, including lodging, meals, towels, gymnasium services, and field assistance, if necessary
- Collaborate with Athletic Trainer and healthcare providers regarding student health and participation requirements.
- Ensure that all coaching staffs are compliant with safety-related and other training programs as required.
- Maintain a record of all sporting results of junior and senior high athletic events; maintains records of all award winners stating, that includes
- Direct an in-school, extracurricular program designed to foster support for the athletic teams and school spirit among non-participants (feeder programs and pep-related squads).
- Coordinates award programs, recognition events and award ceremonies.
- Investigate and resolve concerns involving athletic programs in a timely and professional manner.
- Must work closely with all staff members, teachers, coaches, athletic trainer, administration.
- All other duties as assigned by the High School Principal and Supervisor of Student Services.
