Position Summary
The HR Generalist provides broad support across key areas of Human Resources operations, ensuring consistent execution of HR processes and excellent employee experiences throughout the employment lifecycle. This role is hands-on and detail-oriented, focusing on core HR functions such as onboarding, benefits coordination, data management, compliance, reporting, and policy support.
While this position interacts regularly with employees and managers, it does not serve a specific client group. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong foundation in HR operations and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Primary Responsibilities
HR Operations & Administration
- Serve as the primary contact for employee inquiries regarding HR data, policies, and general HR processes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee information within HR systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Partner with HRIS to support process improvements and audit.
- Generate, track, and interpret HR reports and metrics to identify trends and provide insights to HR leadership.
- Monthly invoice approvals and coding for internal processing
- Coordinate the full onboarding process, including system setup, benefits enrollment, and facilitation of New Employee Orientation (NEO).
- Partner with payroll, benefits, and hiring managers to ensure smooth transitions for new hires and exiting employees.
- Manage offboarding activities, including benefits reconciliation, documentation, and exit logistics.
- Support benefits-related tasks such as open enrollment, new hire benefit selection and data reporting.
- Coordinate leave of absence requests in collaboration with payroll and benefits partners, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
- Support compliance with company policies and employment laws by maintaining current knowledge of HR regulations and assisting in policy review and updates.
- Participate in HR audits and compliance reporting as needed.
- Assist with employee engagement surveys, communications, and related initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture.
- Assist with employee relocations, international assignments, and visa processes in coordination with the Global Mobility team.
- Serve as a contact for mobility-related questions and ensure compliance with immigration and work authorization requirements.
- Partner with internal teams and external vendors to facilitate smooth transitions and accurate documentation.
- Maintain records and reports related to international transfers and visa activity.
- Partner with HR Business Partners and other key stakeholders to execute core HR programs such as performance management, calibration, salary planning, and engagement survey action planning.
- Contribute to project-based initiatives that enhance employee attraction, development, and retention in collaboration with HRBPs and business leaders.
- Provide guidance on routine employee relations and conflict resolution matters, escalating complex issues as appropriate.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support HR operations and business objectives.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred.
- Professional certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, or HCI) is a plus.
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in Human Resources, preferably within a generalist or HR operations capacity.
- Working knowledge of HRIS systems (Workday and/or UKG preferred).
- Strong understanding of HR fundamentals, including benefits, leave management, onboarding/offboarding, and compliance.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
- Analytical thinker with experience producing and interpreting HR reports and metrics.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building trust and maintaining confidentiality.
- Demonstrated ability to balance employee advocacy with business objectives.
- HR data and transactions are accurate, compliant, and completed on time.
- New hires and separating employees experience smooth, professional transitions.
- Leave, benefits, and reporting processes are effectively managed with minimal errors.
- HR programs and communications are delivered clearly and consistently.
- Strong partnership and support are provided to HRBPs, recruiters, and internal stakeholders.
