Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly to ensure cleanliness and availability for food preparation and service
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients under supervision
- Support the catering team with setup, breakdown, and food handling during events or banquet functions
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including counters, floors, sinks, and storage spaces in accordance with health and safety standards
- Help with bussing tables and clearing dining areas during service to ensure a smooth flow of operations
- Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold hygiene standards and prevent cross-contamination
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of prepared foods and maintain overall cleanliness
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
