Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen and bar staff.
• Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend specials, and upsell items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols.
• Check in with guests regularly to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns promptly, and foster positive guest relations.
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately during transactions while maintaining a friendly demeanor.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable for reservations is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally.
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities.
