Key Responsibilities
Dishwashing & Stewarding
- Operate dish machine and hand‑wash items as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen equipment, utensils, and cookware
- Keep dish area organized, sanitized, and free of hazards
- Manage trash, recycling, and compost removal
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors during and after service
- Assist with closing duties and end‑of‑night cleaning
Prep Cook Duties

Perform basic prep tasks including washing, peeling, chopping, portioning, and labeling

Follow recipes and direction from chefs for evening prep needs

Assist with banquet/event setup prep as assigned

Properly store ingredients and maintain FIFO standards

Support line cooks during service with restocking and light cooking tasks (as trained)

Handle equipment safely and report maintenance needs

Qualifications

Previous kitchen or dishwashing experience preferred but not required

Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
