The YMCA of Orange County is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. We are actively seeking an energetic, motivational, and service-oriented individual for a part-time Cycling Instructor in Fullerton.
This role offers the opportunity to lead indoor cycling classes that motivate all fitness levels while creating playlists, guiding proper bike setup and technique, and fostering an inclusive environment. This position will look to foster genuine connections, practice exceptional hospitality, and create a safe, positive, and enriching environment where every interaction is meaningful. The Cycling Instructor will inspire and empower members by delivering engaging and effective group exercise classes.
Location: Fullerton Family YMCA
Work Schedule: Instructor will be responsible for teaching a class on Saturdays at 7:15 am

Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum Age: 21 years old.
- Education & Experience:
- Preferred: Two- or four-year degree in health, exercise science, recreation, or physical activity-related field.
- Coursework in human anatomy, exercise physiology, and kinesiology preferred.
- Prior experience teaching indoor spin classes.
- Related background in health and/or fitness.
- Preferred: Two- or four-year degree in health, exercise science, recreation, or physical activity-related field.
- Certifications:
- Current Cycle Instructor Certification (e.g. Schwinn, Spinning, AFAA, ACE).
- First Aid and CPR certifications required (training provided and paid for by the YMCA).
