This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire and empower members through both personal training and line dancing instruction as they work toward achieving their health and wellness goals. Through personalized, results-driven training sessions and engaging line dancing classes, you will play a meaningful role in supporting participants on their wellness journey while fostering a fun, inclusive, and welcoming environment. In this role, you will contribute to the energy, growth, and success of a dynamic and expanding wellness program.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum Age: 18  years old.
• Education & Experience:
  • 2-to-4-year college degree in Physical Fitness, Kinesiology, or related field required.
    • May provide Nationally Recognized Personal Training Certification in place of degree requirement.
  • 1 year experience in fitness industry preferred.
  • Experience teaching line dancing classes and leading participants of varying skill levels required.
  • Related background in health and/or fitness.
• Certifications:
  • First Aid and CPR certifications required (training provided and paid for by the YMCA).
