Your Role:
A champion of welcome and support! Reporting to the Early Education Director, you are the first point of contact for families and children. You ensure a smooth, positive experience by managing program administration, maintaining accurate records, supporting billing and enrollment, and contributing to a warm, organized front-of-house environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Greet families with warmth and positivity—be the welcoming face of our center.
· Answer phone and email inquiries with clarity, patience, and care.
· Provide accurate information about programs and support families through enrollment.
· Ensure data accuracy in Daxko (YMCA management system); manage registrations, billing, and communications.
· Prepare weekly enrollment reports and send timely updates to families.
· Schedule and follow up on facility tours with prospective families.
· Collect payments per policy and support the director with calendar and meeting coordination.
· Redirect concerns appropriately to ensure consistent, high-quality service.
· Maintain organized filing systems and a clean, welcoming lobby.
· Communicate weekly with enrolled families; bilingual skills are a plus.
· Support all operational needs of the early education center.
What You Bring:
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel database experience is a plus.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Clear, verbal, and written communication.
· A self-starter mindset who is dependable, team-oriented, and solutions-focused.
· Ability to work collaboratively with people of all backgrounds and identities.
· Commitment to confidentiality and respect for others.
· Bilingual preferred.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
· Primarily seated at the welcome kiosk, with some movement throughout the building.
· Occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds.
· Ability to maintain clean, organized record storage spaces.
· Visual acuity for screen and print-based tasks.
