21st Century Staff-Community Services YMCA

RULH Elementary is seeking reliable and caring individuals to serve as 21st Century Community Learning Center (21st CCLC) Tutors for our after-school and summer extended learning program. Tutors support elementary students by providing academic assistance, mentoring, and helping facilitate engaging enrichment activities.

Key Responsibilities 

• Provide small-group and one-on-one academic support in reading, math, and homework completion

• Assist teachers and program staff with educational enrichment activities including STEM, literacy, and hands-on learning

• Build positive relationships with students and encourage engagement in learning

• Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive program environment

• Supervise students during activities and transitions

• Collaborate with program staff and the Site Coordinator

Qualifications

• High school diploma required (college coursework in education or related field preferred)

• Experience working with children preferred

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Dependable, positive, and supportive when working with students
