What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Production Worker position at Yings Kitchen?
Team Players needed. Our team makes top-quality sauces, marinades and dry mixes for grocery and food service. As part of our team, you will perform a variety of food packaging operations including:
-measuring and preparing ingredients
-preparing and placing containers on conveyor
-operating automated packaging equipment
-sealing, labeling, casing, and stacking finished product
-assembly, disassembly and maintenance of packaging equipment
-cleaning and sanitizing equipment, containers and utensils
-filling customer orders
The quality of our products and safety of our customers is priority #1. Food production workers must be able to:
-Follow all food safety handling and sanitation procedures
-Stand for hours at a time
-Lift up to 50 pounds
-Work in a fast-paced environment
-Comply with record keeping procedures
Food production experience is a plus, training will be provided as needed
