An established, locally owned restaurant is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the business. This is an in-office position responsible for accounts payable, expense tracking, and vendor communications to help keep our operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities
- Process and pay vendor invoices accurately and on time
- Communicate with restaurant vendors regarding invoices, payment status, account questions, and billing discrepancies
- Track and categorize restaurant expenses and maintain accurate financial records
- Review food, beverage, and operating invoices to ensure pricing and charges are accurate before payment
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment issues
- Monitor accounts receivable and track incoming payments
- Assist with bank deposits and payment tracking
- Maintain organized accounting files and supporting documentation
- Provide administrative and accounting support to ownership as needed
- Previous experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or accounting required
- Previous accounting experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Full-time, hourly position
- Starting at $25.00 per hour, with higher pay based on experience
