Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage essential financial records while providing vital administrative support across various office functions. Responsibilities
- Serve about 60 clients in day to day bookkeeping needs. This includes all data entry, reconciliations, and thorough review so that the books are ready for tax preparation.
- Review of client kept books to get them ready for tax preparation.
- Answering the main office phone and directing those calls to the proper CPA.
- Responding promptly to client inquiries via phone or email.
- Handle clerical duties such as scanning client docuemnts, sending clients files through the portal, preparing reports, electronic filing of tax reutrns, and maintaining organized filing systems
Skills
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on professional phone etiquette and client interaction
- Technical proficiency in computer literacy, including familiarity with spreadsheets, word processing, and data management tools
- Previous office experience in administrative roles such as front desk reception or personal assistant roles is highly desirable
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively with strong time management skills to meet deadlines consistently
