What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Attorney position at Yatooma Law, P.C.?
Yatooma Law is a fully remote litigation practice seeking tenacious trial lawyers to join our team. We are hiring only zealous advocates with outstanding writing and oratory skills. Remote or hybrid work available:
Compensation package includes profit-sharing, benefits, and a base salary of least $85k. Full-time, part-time, flex-time, and independent contractor arrangements are also available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and analyze complex legal issues, including but not limited to legal malpractice, commercial transactions, privacy violations, and franchise liabilities.
- Draft compelling submissions for state, federal, and appellate courts.
- Prepare for and present oral argument in the state, federal, and appellate courts.
- Collaborate with colleagues on creative case strategies.
- Contribute to the firm’s thoughtful leadership through written and oral presentations.
Required Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice in Michigan.
- Exceptional legal research, analytical, and persuasive writing skills.
- Strong oral advocacy and public speaking abilities.
- Intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm for challenging legal work.
- Three years of trial and litigation experience in arbitration, state and/or federal courts.
Salary : $85,000
