Yard House is seeking a friendly, dependable, and team-oriented Restaurant Crew Member to support daily restaurant operations and provide a positive experience for guests. This role involves assisting with guest service, food and beverage operations, order support, maintaining clean and organized work areas, and working closely with kitchen and front-of-house team members. The ideal candidate is reliable, attentive, and comfortable working in a busy restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service
- Assist customers with general questions about menu items and restaurant offerings
- Support food and beverage service according to restaurant procedures
- Assist with taking, confirming, and communicating customer orders as needed
- Communicate guest requests and order details clearly with kitchen and service staff
- Help maintain smooth customer and order flow during busy service periods
- Assist with food preparation, order assembly, and routine restaurant tasks as assigned
- Keep dining areas, counters, workstations, and service areas clean and organized
- Restock napkins, utensils, containers, beverages, and other service supplies
- Assist with opening, closing, and daily restaurant responsibilities
- Follow food-safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace procedures
- Communicate customer concerns or operational issues to supervisors when needed
- Work cooperatively with kitchen, service, and management team members
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, café, hospitality, retail, or customer-service experience is helpful
- Friendly, professional, and respectful approach to customers
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Good attention to cleanliness, organization, and service details
