What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Quality Supervisor position at Xylem?
Our Sensus, Manufacturing Quality Supervisor is responsible for leading all quality assurance activities at the DuBois, PA manufacturing facility. This role manages and develops a team of 7–9 Quality Technicians, driving consistent execution of quality standards while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
he Supervisor develops, implements, and maintains quality control processes and procedures, ensuring full compliance with applicable industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory expectations. This position leads regular audits, root cause investigations, and corrective/preventive actions, leveraging quality data and metrics to identify trends, reduce risk, and improve overall manufacturing performance.
Qualifications:
- Manufacturing quality experience
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA) principles focus on a systematic, blame-free investigation to find underlying causes
- People leadership experience
- (Preferred) bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field with at least 4 years experience, with at least 1 year experience as a people manager or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000 to $85,000 plus a 7.5% annual bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
