Duties
- Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain a clean, organized dining area
- Assist servers by delivering food and beverages promptly and accurately from the kitchen to guests’ tables
- Support food presentation and ensure dishes are served at the correct temperature and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness in all service areas, including bussing tables, sweeping floors, and sanitizing surfaces in compliance with food safety standards
- Replenish supplies such as utensils, napkins, condiments, and glassware to ensure smooth service flow
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to relay guest orders or special requests
- Assist with setup for special events or banquet functions when needed, providing excellent guest services in a fast-paced environment
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
- Familiarity with food handling procedures, food safety protocols, and basic kitchen operations enhances your ability to succeed in this role
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus; strong communication skills are essential for coordinating with team members and guests
- Prior banquet or hotel experience can be advantageous for supporting larger events or special occasions
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining excellent customer service and hospitality standards
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking basics, or culinary experience is beneficial but not mandatory; a positive attitude and eagerness to grow are most important
