What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mulesoft Lead | REMOTE | USC/GC | W2 Contract | position at Xlysi?
We’re looking for a seasoned Sr MuleSoft Developer who can design, build, and own integrations end-to-end. This is not a support role — we need someone who can think through architecture, build clean APIs, and integrate across modern data and event systems.
You’ll be working on net-new API development and enterprise integrations across data platforms, observability tools, and streaming systems.
What You’ll Do
Design and build APIs using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (REST/SOAP)
Develop net-new integrations across enterprise systems
Integrate with:
Splunk (logging, monitoring, event data)
Snowflake (data pipelines, ingestion)
Apache Kafka (event-driven architecture)
Build scalable, reusable APIs using API-led connectivity principles
Handle data transformation using DataWeave
Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve existing integrations
Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to define integration patterns
Must Haves
5 years of hands-on MuleSoft development experience
Deep experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
Strong API development experience (REST/SOAP)
Experience integrating with:
Splunk
Snowflake
Apache Kafka
Solid understanding of integration patterns (real-time, batch, event-driven)
Ability to think through solutions, not just execute tickets
Nice to Have
Previous lead experience or acting as a senior technical owner
Experience in healthcare or large enterprise environments
CI/CD experience
Experience working in high-scale, distributed systems
