What are the responsibilities and job description for the EDI Tester | Remote | W2 Only | position at Xlysi?
Rate is Max $40/hr on W2 without benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for EDI transactions
Validate ANSI X12 formats such as 834, 835, 837, 270/271, 276/277
Perform end-to-end (E2E) testing including data validation and reconciliation
Identify, log, and track defects; perform root cause analysis
Validate inbound and outbound EDI files against specifications
Work closely with EDI Analysts/Developers to resolve issues
Support trading partner onboarding and testing cycles
Ensure compliance with HIPAA standards (for healthcare projects)
Participate in regression, integration, and UAT testing
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as an EDI Tester or QA Analyst
Strong knowledge of ANSI X12 EDI transactions
Experience in manual and/or automated testing
Familiarity with EDI tools (e.g., BizTalk, Sterling, Edifecs, etc.)
Ability to read and validate EDI mapping documents
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and documentation skills
