Location: Wilmer, TX 75172

Pay Rate:

• Assistant Technician I: $22.00/hour
• Assistant Technician II: $24.00/hour
• 10% Night Shift Differential (B & D shifts only)

Schedule:

12-hour rotating shifts

• A Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Sunday–Wednesday)
• B Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Sunday–Wednesday)
• C Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Wednesday–Saturday)
• D Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Wednesday–Saturday)

About the Role:

We are seeking motivated Assistant Technicians I & II to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of advanced solar manufacturing equipment. These roles are ideal for candidates with mechanical and electrical aptitude who are looking to grow in a high-tech, fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assistant Technician I:

• Assist with inspecting, maintaining, and repairing manufacturing equipment
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and support calibration tasks
• Monitor equipment performance and report issues
• Assist with basic troubleshooting (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic)
• Maintain maintenance logs and documentation
• Support equipment installations and upgrades
• Follow all safety and operational procedures

Assistant Technician II:

• Perform routine and advanced maintenance with minimal supervision
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
• Analyze equipment performance and assist with root cause analysis
• Support equipment installation, calibration, and upgrades
• Document maintenance procedures and repair history
• Collaborate with teams to improve equipment reliability
• Maintain tools, parts inventory, and calibration standards

Qualifications:Assistant Technician I:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of manufacturing or industrial experience
• Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read technical manuals or schematics

Assistant Technician II:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 years of manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic systems
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications (Both Levels):

• Technical certification or associate degree (mechanical, electrical, mechatronics)
• Experience in cleanroom or automated manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with solar or semiconductor manufacturing equipment

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-noise, and high-temperature environment
• Ability to wear PPE and follow cleanroom protocols

Work Environment:

• Advanced manufacturing / cleanroom setting
• Exposure to production equipment and machinery
