Edge Banding Operator
Pay: $18.11-$19.02
Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (or until finished)

Position Overview: The Edge Banding Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining edge banding machinery to apply edging materials (PVC, ABS, wood veneer, or melamine) to cabinet components. This role ensures high-quality finishes, precise measurements, and adherence to production schedules while maintaining safety and efficiency standards.
Position Description:
- Operate edge banding machines to apply edging to cabinet panels and components.
- Read and interpret work orders, technical drawings, and measurements.
- Inspect materials before and after processing to ensure quality standards.
- Adjust machine settings (temperature, pressure, feed speed) for different materials
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of edge banding equipment.
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report major malfunctions to maintenance.
- Maintain accurate production records and report output to supervisors.
- Follow all plant safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals
Position Requirements:
- Must be Bilingual (English/ Spanish)
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred
- Prior experience in woodworking, cabinetry, or manufacturing is an asset.
- Ability to read tape measures, calipers, and technical drawings.
- Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift panels and materials up to 50 lbs.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills
- Fast-paced manufacturing floor in a non-climate warehouse
- Exposure to noise, dust, and adhesives.
- Standing for long periods and handling materials
