Large Manufacturing company located in the Toledo Ohio area is looking for a Sr. Safety Coordinator
JOB DUTIES
- Implement, manage and monitors safety programs, policies and procedures that meet OSHA requirements.
- Evaluate the organizations procedures, facilities and equipment by conducting inspections to identify unsafe conditions and to implement safeguards and solutions.
- Ensure the organization complies with all current safety regulations and that all employees are aware of safety requirements and are prepared to follow safety procedures.
- Collects data and reports on all safety and accident events.
- Coordinate and ensure all requirements and procedures are followed in regards to fire prevention and evacuation, hazardous waste management, resource conservation, or other safety related in the local area and GSE/Aviation industries.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree
- Relevant OSHA or other safety certifications preferred.
- Knowledge of OH Bureau of Workers’ Compensation systems helpful.
- 2 years’ experience as a Safety professional in a manufacturing environment.
Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
