Key Responsibilities
- Lead global and regional sourcing activities with strong emphasis on North America to secure components at optimal cost, quality, and delivery performance.
- Drive price negotiations, commercial terms, and lead time optimization with current and prospective suppliers.
- Align sourcing strategies with the organization’s long-term growth objectives and profitability targets.
- Consistently deliver annual cost reduction goals through value engineering, supplier optimization, and alternative sourcing initiatives.
- Track and report on key performance metrics related to sourcing effectiveness and supply chain health.
- Support new product development by sourcing specialized materials, prototypes, and samples for emerging technologies.
- Manage supplier transitions, evaluate outcomes, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Stay informed on evolving manufacturing technologies and industry advancements relevant to high-volume production.
- Partner with internal teams (Project Management, Engineering, and Quality) to enhance overall supply chain performance and resolve material-related issues.
- Design and execute structured cost savings programs across the assigned commodity areas.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sourcing team.
- Be available for occasional international travel to support supplier audits, negotiations, and development activities.
Qualifications & Requirement
- sBachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline
- .At least 10 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing or procurement within a global manufacturing environment
- .Strong background in the Automotive or Consumer Electronics sector is required
- .Deep knowledge of electronic components and interconnect solutions is strongly preferred
- .Prior experience developing and managing international suppliers is a significant advantage
- .Proven track record as a self-starter with strong initiative, ownership, and results-driven mindset
- .Excellent negotiation, communication, decision-making, and interpersonal skills
- .Fluency in both written and spoken English
- .Strong team collaboration abilities with the capacity to influence cross-functional stakeholders
