Multi-Billion Dollar Plastics Manufacturing company located on the south side of Canton Ohio is looking for a Director of Quality
JOB DUTIES
- Lead and manage the Quality Assurance function.
- Drive continuous improvement, ensure process excellence, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and enhancing product quality to meet customer expectations.
- Promote a culture of quality, operational efficiency, and sustainable process improvements.
- Drive, implement, and maintain robust Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 13485) or other relevant standards
- Develop and monitor (KPIs) related to quality performance (e.g., scrap rates, customer complaints, and defect levels) etc.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and optimize processes.
- Identify and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address process gaps and quality issues.
REQUIRED
- Bachelor's Degree
- 8 years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or similar quality systems.
- Proficient in root cause analysis (RCA), CAPA, SPC, Program Management (APQP) and statistical analysis tools.
- Any experience working within a plastics manufacturing company a plus
Salary : $150,000 - $175,000
