Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Migrate existing automations from Nintex/SharePoint to Power Platform
- Design and develop Power Apps (Canvas or Model-Driven) from scratch
- Build and manage Power Automate workflows (automated, instant, scheduled)
- Rebuild approval forms and business process workflows
- Enhance and optimize existing automation processes
- Create detailed documentation for all developed solutions
- Manage 1–2 automation projects at a time (ranging from 1 week to ~4 months)
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in apps and workflows
- Review requirements, screenshots, and process documentation
- Independently design and build Power Apps and flows
- Collaborate with internal team for clarification when needed
- Test applications and develop basic test scripts
- Document completed solutions for future reuse
- 2–6 years of experience with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate
- Proven ability to build apps and workflows from scratch (end-to-end)
- Strong experience with:
- Power Apps development
- Power Automate flow design and troubleshooting
- Writing Power Fx formulas (e.g., If, Patch, ForAll)
- Experience debugging failed flows and application issues
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
- Experience with Microsoft Dataverse (tables, relationships, security roles)
- Familiarity with SharePoint (low priority)
- UI/app design experience
- Experience writing test scripts
- Knowledge of error handling patterns in Power Automate (try/catch, scopes, run-after logic)
- Exposure to Power Platform Admin Center or environment setup
- PL-900 or similar Power Platform certification (nice to have)
- Fully remote (U.S.-based candidates only)
- Supportive and collaborative team environment
- Contractor will operate as the primary Power Platform developer
- Access to a centralized Power Apps team for standards and guidance
- Minimal stakeholder management required
- Standard business hours (MT or CT preferred)
