Job Overview
Xavier University Library seeks a Medical Librarian to support Xavier University’s proposed College of Osteopathic Medicine (XUCOM), the nation’s first Jesuit Catholic osteopathic medical school, by developing, managing, and delivering information resources and services that advance education, clinical learning, research, and community engagement. The successful candidate will provide expert reference and evidence-based literature support, partner with faculty and students on curriculum and research projects, and contribute to continuous improvement of library services.

Minimum Qualifications
- Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) or equivalent from an ALA-accredited program or international equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in health sciences librarianship, academic library services, or equivalent experience supporting medical education.
- Demonstrated experience performing advanced literature searches and providing instruction to adult learners.
- Experience in an osteopathic medical education environment or other clinical education setting.
- Additional degree or coursework in a health-related field (e.g., MPH, MLS with health sciences concentration).
- Experience supporting systematic reviews, medical education research, or faculty scholarship.
- Familiarity with institutional repositories, scholarly communications workflows, and research data management.
