Assistant Director of Campus Visits
The Assistant Director of Campus Visits advances the mission of Xavier University by supporting Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM) through the planning and execution of engaging, mission-driven recruitment events and visit experiences. This position plays a vital role in shaping how prospective students and families encounter the Xavier community by overseeing daily campus visits and contributing to signature enrollment events. Working collaboratively across campus, the Assistant Director ensures communications and experiences reflect Xavier’s Jesuit values of Cura Personalis and hospitality while supporting undergraduate recruitment goals.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of event planning or event managing experience, strong communication and organization skills, ability to juggle multiple and sometimes competing deadlines, and a customer service mindset. Please note that previous experience in higher education is not necessary.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Plan and Execute Recruitment Events
- Assist in the planning and implementation of on-campus and off-campus recruitment events serving up to 1,500 attendees.
- Coordinate key annual programs including Open Houses, Admitted Student events, and programming designed to support and engage diverse student populations.
- Oversee Daily Campus Visit Experience
- Manage the planning and execution of daily campus visits, group tours, and specialized visit opportunities for prospective students and families.
- Develop and maintain visit schedules in CRM systems and on the university website to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
- Student Ambassador Program Support
- Oversee Student Ambassador scheduling and daily operations, making real-time adjustments to ensure exceptional visitor experiences.
- Assist in supervising student staff, including scheduling, training, and ongoing support.
- Communication and Marketing Support
- Assist in drafting, editing, and proofing communications for events and visits, including email campaigns and print materials.
- Associate's degree in event management or related field
- 1-3 years in relevent work experience
- Bachelor's degree in event management or related field
