Assistant Director, Center for Mission & Identity
Xavier University is seeking a passionate and mission-driven Assistant Director to join the Center for Mission and Identity. In this collaborative role, the successful candidate will work to further enhance the impact of Xavier’s Jesuit Catholic identity by developing and managing the Center’s digital and multimedia communications and print resources. Additionally, this role will assist with the facilitation of signature programs for faculty and staff, offering the unique opportunity to create new experiences and initiatives that animate the university’s mission across the institution.
The ideal candidate will be a creative and organized professional with exceptional communication skills and a heart for mission-driven work. We are looking for individuals who possess a proven track record of creativity and organizational excellence, preferably with experience working within a mission-driven or non-profit institution. The ability to articulate the mission of Xavier University through digital and print media is essential to successfully fulfilling the goals of the Center and the Division of Mission and Ministry at Xavier University.

Job Responsibilities
- Create and execute multimedia strategies for the Center for Mission and Identity, JesuitResource.org, and the university’s sustainability initiatives.
- Collaborate in the review and creation of current and new programs for faculty and staff on campus as well as publications about the university’s Jesuit Catholic mission and heritage.
- Assists with the management and expansion of Xavier’s sustainability efforts.
- Support the management of day-to-day operation
- Bachelors degree in a related field
- Proven expertise in relevant multimedia and web communications software
- 2-3 years of relevant experience
