Assistant Director, All for One Fund
Xavier University, a Jesuit Catholic institution, seeks applications for full-time Assistant Director, All for One. This position will report to the Associate Athletic Director, Development and will execute athletic development initiatives that support the goals and objectives for growth of the All for One Fund.
Responsibilities
- Fundraise for the 19 intercollegiate athletic teams at Xavier University. Aspects of event management are also included as well as stewardship and growing the AFO program.
- Develop a fundraising, communication and event plan for Xavier University’s 19 varsity sports in partnership with the Director, All for One Fund (AFO). Coordinate all day-to-day activities of the AFO. This includes the solicitation schedule, mailing design/concept, extracting data lists, and working with the print partner. Execute all solicitation mailings, benefit fulfillment and stewardship plans for the All for One Fund.
- Assist with event planning for AFO related events for donors and prospects. Includes fundraising events and AFO benefit events such as Chalk Talks, the AFO Golf Outing, donor dinners, etc. Coordinate invite lists, design and oversee invitation design and event registration process through the University’s event management system.
- Primarily focus on growing donor base. Manage a call list of AFO prospects, as well as identifying new prospects. Includes personal visits, calls, events and meetings. Focus on developing relationships, engaging, stewarding and moving prospects through the development continuum. Coordinate activities with University Advancement and utilize prospect management and tracking systems.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution, plus at least 1 year of fundraising experience.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and meet the requirements for insurability under Xavier’s policy.
- The employee will have knowledge of and a commitment to compliance with NCAA rules and regulations.
- Ability to interact and represent Xavier well with a diverse constituency of students, faculty, alumni and media.
