Job Description:
- Clinical Duties: Assist Optometrist by conducting diagnostic test, pretesting, recording and measuring vision, testing eye function, instructing patients in inserting and caring for contact lenses, preparing examination rooms, cleaning equipment.
- Administrative Duties: Answering phones, making appointments, obtaining insurance verification and authorization, data entry, as well as filing and maintaining records.
Job Requirements:
- Organization – Being organized is essential since you will be dealing with patient files and documents.
- Detail Orientation – Attention to detail is also an important job requirement, as typos and inaccuracies can happen often.
- Phone Skills – Proper phone etiquette is necessary since phone conversations with patients and insurance carriers will be frequent.
- Open to Career Development - We require the ability to help out wherever is necessary. People with the ability to learn new optometric quickly will do best in this environment.
- Positive Attitude – You will be working in a very busy environment, maintaining a positive attitude is vital to your success.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
