Position Overview:
The Project Engineer will play a vital role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale science and technology construction projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Support project managers in day-to-day operations, including scheduling, cost control, procurement, and subcontractor management
- Assist with project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and meeting minutes to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to align technical requirements with project delivery
- Monitor quality assurance, safety compliance, and adherence to regulatory standards including GMP when applicable
- Track project milestones, forecast schedules, and prepare status reports for leadership and stakeholders
- Participate in problem-solving, risk management, and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- 1–3 years of construction management or project coordination experience, internships considered
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with technical teams and clients
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project management tools such as Procore, Primavera, or MS Project preferred
- Exposure to or strong interest in science and technology construction projects a preference
